Conveniently situated opposite Mercer Hall Park, our residents can enjoy the picturesque views and the tranquil surroundings. The park offers a beautiful place for relaxation and leisurely walks. Additionally, being just a stone’s throw away from local shops and facilities, our residents have easy access to various amenities, ensuring their needs are met conveniently.

Our Home

With a total of 38 bedrooms, Hope House for those who require general nursing care.

The home has 2 floors, with a lift and with plentiful visitor parking available in the private car park to the side of the building. Our beautiful landscaped patio garden is a real stand out feature and is fully accessible.

Offering a comfortable environment with tastefully decorated en-suite rooms, we very much encourage our residents to personalise their own bedrooms with their own special items, to ensure that it feel ‘just like home’.

Hope House has a conservatory which residents use as a quiet lounge, two comfortable TV lounges – one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor plus, a spacious ground floor dining room.

Residents choose how they wish to spend their days, however, residents are encouraged to have fun and socialise. There are daily, varied and enjoyable activities, making every day different. All residents are welcome to join in with our resident programme of activities or be supported to enjoy pastimes of their own choice.

Of course, we celebrate birthdays as well as other special days in the year, aside from coffee mornings, afternoon tea and active, planned social activity sessions. Resident’s friends and family members are welcome at any time and are welcome to join in the activities of the home.

Our Home Manager, Cathy Yates, leads the team at Hope House and is dedicated to ensuring the home delivers excellent nursing care and that all of our residents wishes and needs are met. The health, well-being and happiness of our ‘family’ of residents, is always our number one priority.

It is the skill and dedication of our team of experienced and qualified nurses that make this an award winning care home in Accrington. Hope House has a dedicated Activity Coordinator who offers one to one time for those residents who prefer to spend time in their rooms or are unable to join with others in the lounge.

Westcliffe Manor

Westcliffe Manor is beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside. It is a home where the standards of discreet nursing care and service are rarely surpassed, and the building and gardens are very much admired. Tucked away behind the garden wall, this is a ‘hidden gem’ of a nursing home and is the premium home for nursing care in Birkdale.

Serving the local families of Birkdale for over 16 years, the reputation for excellence in all areas is as high as ever it was. Attention to detail is the key to this homes success.

The home is a calm haven where residents enjoy discreet care, a standard of uncompromising daily life which is much appreciated and many additional services, which are neither expected nor delivered in a traditional nursing environment. Whether it be the a la carte menu in the dining room or the Wellbeing Therapist, to ensure that our residents are happy and entertained, no request is too small to be attended to.

All resident wishes and choices for their nursing care are recorded in a personal care plan, tailor made to ensure that all nursing needs and personal preferences are known. We also work closely with families and loved ones, involving them whenever possible.

We ensure that our residents have the opportunity to enjoy the company of others, should they wish. Afternoon tea, is a daily occurance and of course the dining service is a stand out feature of Westcliffe Manor. For those who chose to dine in their room, the excellent dining experience is served as appropriate to their needs and wishes.

Our Wellbeing Therapist is dedicated to ensuring that residents activities are designed to engage people’s attention and further residents interests. Whether it be embracing Reiki, mindfulness and wellness sessions or appreciating arts, crafts or joining the ‘Book Club’; being engaged in meaningful activities ensures residents feel able to relax and enjoy the company of others, as friends.

Sue Rigg, the Home Manager, has been at the home for 14 years and is rightly proud of her caring and compassionate team.

Our team of experienced and qualified nurses are committed to ensuring residents receive the highest standard of bespoke nursing care and are treated with dignity, whatever the time of day or night.

Working together with our nurses are the well trained, highly skilled team of carers who possesses the necessary skills and all essential personal qualities, to provide the best of care. Residents can be certain of excellent care standards in all areas.

The Chef leads the kitchen team and his passion for delivering the very best menu, to match residents tastes and needs, is unfailing. He ensures our residents receive a menu which is fresh, seasonal, locally sourced and cooked to perfection!

Church View

Church View nursing home is a very popular purpose built care home, built over 3 floors,  and is very much part of its local community. The home has a great team who are dedicated, caring and devoted to their residents. The feeling of ‘family’ in this home is in the atmosphere.

Ideally, the home is situated on a main bus route into Liverpool City Centre and close to several shops.

There is a lounge and dining room situated on the ground floor, a conservatory which leads into a safe garden area as well as a quiet lounge. The home has a fully equipped hairdressing salon on the first floor.

All of the 35 bedrooms at Church View Nursing Home are decorated to a good standard and we encourage our residents to personalise their own rooms to ensure they feels ‘just like home’. Rooms are not ensuite but there are plentiful well equipped bathrooms on every floor for resident use.

It is worth noting that our home has a large private car park for visitors.

Cheryl Maher, Home Manager leads the team at Church View. She and every team member are passionate about ensuring that the home delivers nursing care of an excellent standard and all resident wishes and needs are met.

Our qualified nurses are on hand to provide the highest standard of care 24 hours a day. They are supported by a well-trained, highly skilled and dedicated care team, with support staff, who possesses the necessary skills and all essential personal qualities, required for excellent care standards.

Dovehaven Lodge

Dovehaven Lodge is a purpose built home, well designed into four smaller ‘houses’ with dedicated teams providing excellent standards of care and support. Caring team members create that extra special ‘family’ atmosphere at Dovehaven Lodge, whether it be in a house offering nursing care, residential dementia care, dementia nursing care or specialist dementia care.

All houses, offer ground floor accommodation, with dining rooms always set as they should be to enjoy every mealtime. Offering easily accessible living spaces and sitting rooms, the design of the homes makes it easy to enjoy organised social events and for residents to pursue their hobbies and interests. Our landscaped gardens and patios are perfect places to spend time with friends and family.

Residents are invited to decorate their bright, well planned, comfortable, private bedrooms with small items of their own treasured belongings, so that it feels just like home.

Manchester House

Manchester House is one of Southport’s finest Victorian residences, which overlooks Hesketh Park. Easily located in Southport, the home is close to the town centre and promenade.

The home offers a wide range of specialist nursing care, beyond which a general nursing home might provide. Manchester House has provided the local community with bespoke nursing care for many years, with a reputation of providing excellent care for those who have complex care needs.

Our home certainly has charm and character, the hallway, lounges and dining rooms are large with high ceilings ensuring that along with the beautiful decor, the home is a very pleasant place to be.

The benefit of a large extension at the rear of the home ensures that there are ample ground floor bedrooms plus, reception rooms, dining rooms and lounges for residents to spend their time away from their own private bedrooms, should they wish. There are also accessible garden and courtyard garden areas for all to enjoy.
