There is a lounge and dining room situated on the ground floor, a conservatory which leads into a safe garden area as well as a quiet lounge. The home has a fully equipped hairdressing salon on the first floor.

All of the 35 bedrooms are decorated to a good standard and we encourage our residents to personalise their own rooms to ensure they feels 'just like home'. Rooms are not ensuite but there are plentiful well equipped bathrooms on every floor for resident use.

It is worth noting that our home has a large private car park for visitors.

The health, well-being and happiness of our ‘family’ of residents, is always our number one priority.

Church View provides excellent nursing care to residents with significant and complex health conditions. We deliver that care with compassion and professionalism, always ensuring our residents dignity and privacy is maintained.

We understand that every resident is unique with individual care requirements. Our approach to nursing care is based on the use of personalised care plans. Care plans record clinical and medical information but also from extensive information obtained from our residents and their families, ensuring we identify all nursing care requirements. These bespoke care plans ensure we maximise choice, independence and the comfort of our residents

We can offer nursing care for people with specific requirements, includug PEG- feeding, palliative, physical disabilities as well as end of life care. Our nurses work very closely with other external healthcare professionals, to ensure that the broadest range of professional expertise is available to support all nursing care needs.

The respite care we provide is ideal for those requiring nursing care following discharge from hospital or who might alternatively receive nursing care in their own home, when the care and attention of a qualified nurse is required. We are very happy to discuss your requirements for a respite stay, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your nursing needs.

Our Activity Co-ordinator is dedicated to ensuring that residents activities are designed to engage people's attention and interest. What people say

Since my mother-in-law came to stay at Church View, the staff and manager have gone above and beyond for her care. It wasn’t the greatest time to go into a home at the beginning of a pandemic but the staff have ensured we could still have contact even through a perspex screen and have looked after my mother-in-law well.
Would highly recommend.

Patrick K (Son of Resident)

I have had my mother in Church View for over 2 months now and had no hesitation when my father had the opportunity to join her there, we as a family are lucky and very grateful they are both in Church View. On my visits, I have met the manager and several members of staff who have been very friendly and seem extremely nice and professional when dealing with my parents.

Mike M (Son of Resident)

My dad went into Church View for respite for three weeks when, we as a family, were at breaking point. From the off, the communication and care were fantastic, the manager and staff are all lovely. My dad was in a lot of pain on admission, and we were getting nowhere with GP; the home arranged the community matron and a GP to see him, they reviewed all his medication, and now he is a lot more settled. I can’t thank the manager, staff, nurses enough, my dad loved the food, was kept clean and was treated with dignity and respect. You just want your loved ones to be safe and looked after, and he definitely was. The home is spotless, smells lovely, only went in his room a couple of times it was small but ok, the pod is a fantastic idea for the family to be able to visit during Covid restrictions.

Lyn J (Daughter of Resident)

My mum moved to Church View just before lockdown started in March 2020. The staff have made every effort to make my mum feel at home and part of the Church View community. They are so kind and caring towards my mum it gives me great comfort. The home is spotless and her room is homely and comfortable.
I would recommend Church View to everyone.

Diana H (Daughter of Resident)

The staff at Church View are amazing. My uncle was a resident here, and I couldn’t thank them enough for the care they provided. I have had other encounters with numerous amount of care homes for different family members, and none comes close to how amazing this one was. My uncle was very content here
up until he passed away; they provided him with everything he needed. I would visit him once a week, and every time, he would tell me what he had been up to and how the staff were very friendly and always assisted his needs. I would definitely recommend this care home to anyone in the future.
