Dovehaven Care Homes Named Finalist in North West Family Business Awards 2026

Dovehaven Care Homes, a leading family-owned care provider in the North West, has been named a finalist in the Consumer Services category at the North West Family Business Awards 2026.

In a highly competitive year with a record number of entries from family businesses across the region, Dovehaven Care Homes stood out among strong contenders to secure its place as a finalist.

The North West Family Business Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and the positive impact of family-run businesses across the region. Being shortlisted highlights Dovehaven’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care across its homes.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 8th May 2026 at The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.

Former 2025 winner turned judge for this year, Steve Routledge of Powerlift Materials Handling, also shared his thoughts:
“The calibre of applications has been outstanding, and it’s clear that family businesses in our region are both proud of their legacy and impact to their local communities. Many of the entries showcased forward thinking, and a progressive mindset for both the current and future generations.”

Finalists will receive a visit from a panel of judges ahead of the final decision. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in May.
