The Dovehaven CARES Awards returned for their second year on 18th July 2025, bringing with them an outpouring of pride, gratitude, and celebration for the incredible individuals who make our care homes warm, welcoming, and thriving communities. As part of our commitment to recognising outstanding care, compassion, and teamwork, this year’s event shone a spotlight on the people who live and breathe our Dovehaven values each and every day.

Hosted at Liverpool’s iconic White Star Line Hotel, the evening brought together more than 100 colleagues from across the Dovehaven family. It was a night filled with joy, applause, and heartfelt appreciation—an inspiring reminder of what exceptional care truly looks like.

Over 70 Nominations: A Celebration of Outstanding Care

This year, we proudly received over 70 nominations across Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year. Each nomination reflected real stories of dedication—moments of going above and beyond, supporting colleagues, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care that residents and families can depend on.

These nominations demonstrate the strength of our Dovehaven team and the everyday commitment that makes us stand out as a trusted care provider in the North West.

The evening also celebrated our latest CHAPS graduates, a brilliant achievement for colleagues developing their careers in care. Their dedication strengthens the quality of care across our homes and highlights how Dovehaven continues to invest in training, growth, and excellence.
