A new chapter for Westcliffe Manor as boutique residential care returns to Birkdale

Westcliffe Manor is preparing to reopen this November following a beautiful refurbishment, bringing a more personal approach to residential care to the heart of the Birkdale community.

A familiar part of Birkdale is getting ready for a new chapter, as Westcliffe Manor prepares to reopen its doors this November.

The beautifully refurbished home on Westcliffe Road is being transformed into a boutique residential care setting, designed around the things that matter most: feeling at home, being known as an individual and continuing to enjoy the people, places and routines that make Birkdale special.

For Dovehaven, which has been providing family-owned care for more than 40 years, the vision for Westcliffe is about more than creating a beautiful home. It is about creating a place where residents can enjoy a sense of luxury and comfort without losing their connection to everyday life.

At Westcliffe, care will be personal. We’ll take the time to get to know each resident and understand what matters to them, from their daily routines and interests to the people and places they know and love.
