Dovehaven Care Homes Celebrates 2026 Social Care Awards

Dovehaven Care Homes is proud to announce national and local recognition at two major social care award ceremonies taking place on Friday 6th November 2026. We are finalists in five categories at the prestigious National Care Awards, alongside two Dovehaven colleagues who have been shortlisted as finalists at the Liverpool Care Awards 2026. This double recognition highlights the dedication, compassion and excellence shown across our homes every single day.

The National Care Awards, held at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, are the largest awards celebrating outstanding achievement across the UK care sector. Being named finalists in five categories demonstrates the strength of our teams, our commitment to quality care and our continued investment in innovation and development.

• Church View - Care Team of the Year: Awarded to a staff team who have developed and maintained an outstanding standard of care and a strong team ethos.
• Dovehaven Training Team - Training & Development of the Year: Recognises exceptional commitment to training and developing staff across a care home group.
• Mona Violeta, Manchester House - Care Nurse of the Year: Awarded to a registered nurse who has made long‑term care their professional specialism.
• Dovehaven & PainChek - Tech Innovation of the Year: Celebrates innovative technology that enhances care delivery and operational performance.
• Dovehaven - Care Group Medium: Awarded to an outstanding care group with eight to forty homes, demonstrating exceptional client care, strong staff development.

Rachel Preston, Home Manager at Manchester House said: 'Mona is an absolute star, and anyone who knows her will know exactly why she has been named a finalist. Alongside our national recognition, two exceptional Dovehaven colleagues have been named finalists at the Liverpool Caring for Care Awards 2026. These awards celebrate individuals who make a meaningful difference within social care across the Liverpool region.

• Diane Lobley, Brooklands – Mikaela Williams Brown Award for Lifetime Achievement: Honours individuals who have made a long‑standing and exceptional contribution to social care, with Diane recognised for over 20 years of dedicated service.
• Justus Naturo – Social Care Worker of the Year: Celebrates a dependable, professional care worker who consistently delivers high‑quality support.

David Wright, Home Manager at Brooklands said: 'I could not be more proud to see Diane recognised in this way. She has given more than 20 years to social care and has made such a difference to the people she has cared for, the families she has supported and the colleagues she has worked alongside. Diane is a huge part of the Brooklands family, and this recognition is so well deserved!'
